Shelby went to her first Special Olympics event yesterday and she had a blast. I was so excited for her and all of her friends when they got so happy because they accomplished the task. I can't wait until we get to go again to another event. Here is a picture movie I made with the pics I took and some other pics I thought would be good to share.

It's on Showtime on demand I had no idea they had this kind of stuff on there until Rod was looking through the different options on the on demand chanels and there it is. Granted it doesn't show nearly as much as true porn but it is still pretty graphic so I had to put a parental block on the chanel so that Justin can't watch it when we aren't home and trust me he'd watch it in a heart beat if given half a chance. Right now there is a show with Anna Nicole Smith on it.

Holidays and Family get togethers suck.....I really love being with my family for the holidays but....Every year we go to my dads for Thanksgiving on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and we always hold dinner at 2:00. Well this year Kayla is supposed to be in the Thanksgiving Parade on the same day as the dinner at dads and it starts at 2:00 and doesn't end until 4:30 so if I go to the parade I will miss dinner at my dads all together but if I go to my dads I will miss the parade and I am torn I have never missed dinner at my dads but I have never been able to go to one of Kayla's ROTC events before either so I don't know what to do.

Well Shelby has Strep again and she has actually had a fever today and she doesn't usually get fevers. She has been super whiny today and I totally understand why. The doctor said he doesn't want to send her to a specialist yet though because they will want to remove her
tonclles (sp) and he doesn't want her to be put to sleep he thinks her system is to compromised already so he gave her 1000 mg. of
rocephren (sp) (antibiotic) and then gave me a script for an oral antibiotic for ten days. I just wish she could get well and stay well.
While we were there I asked Dr. M why he was so dressed up today and he told me he lost a patient with cerebral palsy and was asked to be a
pallbearer in her funeral today so all day it has been in the back of my mind that Shelby really could succumb to an infection or surgery or any number of things and I just can't fathom being without her.
