DH got up yesterday morning and woke everybody up at 7:00am for no reason and boy did it piss me off because I had been up with the baby several times and the only person that was awake was DH so I could have slept in but he wanted to be an ass.
Then at 11:30 Shelby's speech therapist came and Shelby wouldn't let her do anything with her soI had to do most of the stuff while the ST watched. Shelby has been insisting on me doing everything for her lately since I had to spend so much time not being able to do very much because of the surgery I had. Any who then I had to take Kayla to the dentist and I was going to run by Erin's and the go to the store but I forgot my cell phone at home so after Erin's I had to go back to the office and wait on Kayla and by the time she got done I had to get home so my BIL could pick up my nephew that I babysit. ALL in all a pretty boring day and I delt like I didn't get anything done. Hopefully today will be better. We have to take Shelby to PT today and I am going to take some pics of her in the walker I'll post some so you can see.
It went well he had his finger pricked and didn't cry but he did bleed like hell he weighs 16lbs 14oz and is 27 in tall. He is developmentally doing great he still has the heart murmmer and is getting two new teeth. He got his polio vaccine and only cried for a minute and talked to the ladies that make appts when we were leaving yes he is already a ladies man god help me now.
My name is Trish and I am not a great writer hell I'm not even a good one. It seems that the only thing I am good at is being a mom, I have 4 kids and 4 angles. 3 of my angles were due to miscarriage and 16 years ago I lost my son CJ to SIDS when he was 3 months old.
Kayla is my oldest she is 18 and a senior in high school she wants to join the Air Force when she graduates and she is the single best 18 year old I have ever met she gave up her summer last year to stay home and help me through the end of my pregnancy because I was put on bed rest and needed someone to be here to help with Shelby. Then this summer she chose to stay home again to help her mom I had to have an umbilical hernia repaired and couldn't lift anything so she stepped up again and I love her so much for it.
Justin is next he is 14 and a freshman and he is great in his own way he loves to do yard work and he loves cars he wants to be a mechanic when he grows up and I am all for it. He doesn't like to be in the house much but when he is inside he helps with his younger siblings.
Then there is Shelby she is 5 and starts kindergarten on the 25th and she has cerebral palsy because of a lack of oxygen at birth and the doctors told me that she probably would never walk or talk or progress past the very basic infant stage. Well we brought her home and loved her and got her in physical, occupational and speech therapy and now she can roll over, she can say some simple words, and she even kicked a ball in a walker for the first time and yes I cried when she did. I can't even begin to describe how it makes me feel to see her struggle so hard to do things that most people find so simple and most of the time she works with a smile on her face.
Last but not least is Ryan he is 9 months old and into everything he is crawling and puts everything in his mouth we go later today for his checkup. He did concern me quite a bit when the doc heard a heart murmur and sent us to have an echo but thank god everything looked fine and I am so happy I don't know if I could handle another one with special needs. Anyway this is the beginning of my story.
