Earlier today Kayla dumped Ryan’s clothes in a laundry basket so I could go through them and take out what he can’t wear anymore. Later on Ryan was playing in the floor and picked something up and put it in his mouth when Rodney took it away from him we saw that it was a pellet of rat poison. Well I called the doctor’s office and talked first to poison control and then talked to a nurse and both said he should be fine that it takes like half a box to poison a child his size. Now I know you should not use rat poison when you have small kids and I didn’t we haven’t used this stuff in years but evidently there was still some of it in the house and thank goodness it didn’t hurt Ryan because I would just die if he were poisoned like that.
